Why do you think this sculpture of this nearly naked man (in his baggy white briefs) is creating a brouhaha with college students?
At Wellesley students found the outdoor sculpture to be “a source of apprehension and fear” and signed a petition to closet it back in the Museum (out of public sight). Where do you stand?
I went to Wellesley College. There were no sculptures back then.
The sculpture called SleepWalker is 5 feet 9 inches and is part of the solo show Tony Matelli: New Gravity exhibition at the Davis Museum.Wellesley College Davis Museum at Wellesley College
